Can money buy happiness?

Cr34tive's Thoughts
Cr34tive Cr34tive 10/01/2025
Ah yes, a hook as the topic indeed. This question is the alternative of "For what you play on these servers?". clint10
I may or may not know the answer. I'll just tell what makes me happy and how, because it's my blog and my thoughts on whatever there is. mib10
So, the first question: What is fun for me?
The answer is cooperation, competition, creation and complication.

Cooperation - I enjoy doing activities with others. When I have all the time in the world, it's about doing something random. And I do epsilon missions or missions normally if I have someone with me. I mean sure the lack of good money is tolerable to me but if my partner thinks the same, it's golden. pulp-fiction2

Competition - I enjoy competing against players on an equality basis. Like in events, minigames. I hate minigun in those as it end things really quick. I sure won't mind rocket launcher as it's easily tolerable. Personally, I enjoy Derby, Stunt challenges and street races. Gangs contain mostly people that sweat and cheat too much. Also, the fact that they'll consider cornering players one by one is more unfair in my eyes. tomb-raider25

Creation and Complication - I might be the biggest dreamer of event creation. I seriously have desire to create them really badly. Like with the help of Ekko Ekko and CJbeta CJbeta , I made Rules of Nature event. Also replicated this event with the help of Jose24 Jose24 . This is just a spark of my true creation. My monkey brain generates so many ideas like I find it fun making and testing them. And sure participating as well. I used to be a designer of 'Design Your Own Mision' mod, where I had a good writing skill when it came to story and here, BoosT247 BoosT247 was my inspiration to be as practical and open-minded as him. His events are different. Admins normally make TDM events that are simple to the core. I mean I do appreciate it's simplicity but it's rather more boring in my eyes too. I prefer events to be practical over beautiful. I tend to use the environment, the scenery, everything that I can access to. I'll be honest, my creation addiction might stop somewhere if I get to make them myself and I'll wait patiently for that day to come. mib16

I may have stated all that. But what it served to the topic? Well, that's just the part of the answer. All of these don't even require money. For me, money is nothing but numbers and papers. Earning it is not a problem. It's just a ticket to get anything I want. But the question is, is it worth it? I prefer to give it to others that like to have it. But sadly, that's a problem too which I explained in another blogpost. tomb-raider10

I play to have fun, and for me, fun means doing silly things with my friends. Money is just a means for me to get the things I want. I give away money to my friends and new players faster than a gambling addict spends at a casino.

I honestly play with big goals in mind, like reaching 10k trashman skills (one of my objectives). The problem is that if you are not as passionate for the game as me you might burnout quickly, but that depends from player to player.
